Background vs.Requirements:

Officially established on 8 October 1932, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is the air arm of the India armed forces. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. Training Command is the Indian Air Force's command responsible for training flying and ground crews. Due to the high frequency of trainings, the Indian Air Force Training Department required a biometric-based solution that could accurately record and track the time and attendance for all staff members.

When looking for a suitable partner, the administrators at the Rave Air Force installation required a system that included several features.

The EP300 comes equipped with the BioNano algorithm. This technology provides clear and accurate accounts of all types of fingerprints, even from wet and damaged fingers. The algorithm is capable of recording and logging a high-number of subjects. The EP300 encloses this technology in a durable, water-proof, and dust-proof outer casing in the case of the staff worked outside for a long time. Data-access and extraction is made easy through the use of USB cable, USB pen drive and TCP/IP network. Anviz’s software was easily adapted to meet the needs of the India Air Force Training Department’s administrative requirements.
