S kopje. Macedonian MPs passed the amendments to the personal ID documents act, which expand the deadline for changing the old passports with the new biometric ID cards, Macedonian Vecer daily writes.
Under the amendments, citizens will have to obtain a biometric ID card by February 27, 2012. The amendments to the act have been passed unanimously at the Macedonian parliament.
