What You Must Do Before Upgrading the latest Firmware for the FaceDeep 3 Series

This is a detailed guide for upgrading a FaceDeep 3 Series firmware.

Recently, we released the latest firmware 03.74.B9 in order to experience better performance on our FaceDeep3 series devices. And it’s also an important firmware even with firmware released in the future. Hereby, our team creates this faq in order to help customers understand how to update the firmware correctly on the FaceDeep 3 Series.


There are 4 steps you must follow.

  • Step 1: Check whether your current firmware with BT107 or not.
You can check the firmware version on the device, webserver and CrossChex.

A firmware with BT107 from the device:

 A firmware without BT107 from the device:
basic info 2

 
  • Step 2: Download the firmware 03.74.B9.
If your current firmware with BT107, download here.
If your current firmware without BT107, download here.
  Notice: Please confirm if you prepare the correct firmware version. You must upgrade to the corresponding correct firmware version, otherwise WiFi will not work.
  • Step 4: Check if your current firmware is 03.74.B9 to ensure the upgrade process is successful.
You can also check it on the device, webserver and CrossChex. If it’s not 03.74.B9, please check the operating steps and upgrade the firmware again.
