Since November 2022, some areas of the Ministry of Health implemented the use of Anviz brand biometrics in several states of the Mexican Republic, as is the case in the State of Coahuila, as a measure to ensure the security of people, property and data in Mexico, under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, contactless interaction in public places has become increasingly important, especially in crowded places and given the high risks many hospitals and health centers need to update their security devices and software to meet the new challenges.

To reduce exposure to viruses and risk to property, they expect to use contactless access control and attendance terminals. Today, the importance of this implementation is vital for a proper working relationship.
Anviz Solution in the Healthcare Sector

Collaborating with Comercializadora GaMart, one of the largest local integrators, Anviz has provided the service of upgrading the access and attendance control system for around 100 healthcare centers in different Mexican states. More than 140 Anviz FaceDeep3 devices were installed in those healthcare centers to manage not only personnel control, but also to protect patients' assets and safety.

To manage attendance records of nearly a thousand employees in different regions, medical center administrators use our CrossChex Cloud software, all quickly and remotely through the cloud.

“Our goal is to reduce employee attendance and access management costs by 50%, and reduce traditional cards by 15%, saving more than 1 million dollars per year for the Ministry”, said Felix, Anviz product manager.

FaceDeep 3 is the new AI-based facial recognition terminal equipped with a Linux-based dual-core CPU and the BioNANO deep learning algorithm. It supports up to 6,000 dynamic faces and quickly recognizes users within 2 meters in less than 0.3 seconds and customizes alerts and a variety of reports including mask usage.

The AI-based live face detection technique makes the hospital entry process more accurate and fraud-resistant by repelling different types of attack vectors.
