Anviz would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth at ASIS 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. Our goal going into ASIS was to replicate and build on the success we had at ISC West in Las Vegas, a few months earlier. Throughout the week, Anviz focused on cultivating new relationships with potential clients while reconnecting with old friends.

The primary objective of the show was to demonstrate the latest Anviz device, M5. The ASIS show was the first opportunity for the North American market to see M5. The biometric-based, access-control, fingerprint reader was perfectly suited for the southern-U.S. climate. The vandal resistant metal housing, and certified IP65 rating makes the device ideal for indoor or outdoor positioning. The slim design allows for installation on numerous different kinds of surfaces, including even the slimmest of doorways. A built-in RFID option adds an additional element of greater security. Combine these features with affordable pricing, and M5 becomes ideal for small and medium sized businesses. Other notable features include:

--BioNANO algorithm ensures verification of even damaged or incomplete fingerprints

--Subject identification in roughly one second

--Contactless identification for RFID and MIFARE

--Can identify wet fingerprints

While the M5 was a big hit at ASIS 2014, Anviz’s most popular device, the iris-scanning device, UltraMatch garnered a significant amount of attention. Attendees immediately recognized the value in the high-level security provided by UltraMatch. Features such as contactless identification also appealed to exhibit attendees. Other notable features include:

--Holds up to 50 000 records

--Subject identification in roughly one second

--Subjects can be identified from a distance of under 20 inches

--Compact design allows for installation on a variety of surface areas

Beyond the M5 and UltraMatch, Anviz also showcased an expanded surveillance line. Intelligent Video Analytics, including the thermal-imaging camera, RealView camera and a tracking system-based surveillance platform, TrackView, also drew significant praise.
